Fighting inequality through content
BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS AWESOME IDEAS
But not the money to make them a reality
The UK is an unequal society, I’m not on a soapbox here, it just is and the research proves it. The impact of inequality is wide-ranging, from low feelings of self-worth through comparing yourself to others, to obesity, violence, segregation and even a reduced interest in living sustainably because you’re more focused on ‘you’ than your community.
There’s a whole report about the shitty effects of inequality here and although it’s based on London, it draws on evidence at a country-level around the world, so safe to say it applies where you live.
What can blog posts do about it?
The best way I can help reduce inequality that I can see at the moment is through content.
I live in a fairly low-income area of Manchester, and I like talking to people. The result is everyday I speak to people hustling startups or with ideas for a business. Men and women holding down a day job and trying to start something they love on the side. This is how I can help, by making content affordable for them, so they can quickly build an online presence, transform their ideas into a viable business and give the momentum that comes when something becomes ‘real’. I’ve been there, and I’m still there, trying to build something of my own.
The world needs more people doing what they love
I’ve made quality website content as affordable as I can at the moment to help people increase their income and self-worth. And each month I’ll empower a person’s plans with a free package of 10 Professional blog posts. If you’ve got ambition and an idea, message me with what you’re trying to build and you’ll be in the mix for the free content. If we can support people in starting doing something they love, then fulfilment, satisfaction, self-worth, learning, money, pride and employment of others all follows, and they are awesome weapons against inequality.
